Dr. Jan Harren is a Research Fellow at the Chair of Derivatives and Financial Engineering, University of Münster. He holds a PhD (since 2021) and M.Sc. in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Münster, with a visiting scholar period at the University of Southern California (USC Marshall, 2023-2024). His research focuses on financial engineering, market microstructure, and quantitative finance, addressing topics like high-frequency trading dynamics, central bank policies, and liquidity risk in derivatives markets. He actively contributes to the Finance Center Münster (FCM) and teaches courses such as Asset Pricing at the master’s level.
