Dr. Alexander Götmann is a Lecturer at the Lucerne School of Business, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Lucerne (HSLU), based in the Institute of Business and Regional Economics (IBR) within the Business Development, Leadership and HR unit. He teaches and researches in the areas of organisational psychology, leadership, and human resource management.

His work also explores psychological approaches to sustainability leadership, aiming to understand how leaders can foster responsible and ethical organisational practices. He has conducted longitudinal and experimental studies to investigate the causal effects of mindfulness interventions on prosocial behaviour and ethical conduct in workplace settings.
Key Publications & Presentations: His recent work includes a 2024 book chapter on Leadership and Sustainability, and empirical studies on mindfulness and cheating behaviour, COVID-19 coping strategies, and climate change adaptation from a psychological perspective.
