Alexander Douglas

Dr. Alexander Douglas is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Mining & Explosives Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Prior to his academic role, he served as the Lead Service and Support Engineer for Hexagon Mining’s Safety product line in North America. He holds a professional engineering license and is a certified mine safety instructor.

Research Interests: Dr. Douglas focuses on Vehicle Automation, Industrial Safety, Remote Sensing, Data Analysis, and Road Maintenance. His work bridges advanced technologies with practical applications in mining and explosives engineering.
