Dr. Alexander Chamberlain is an Adjunct Associate Professor (Research) at Monash University's Department of Medicine, affiliated with Alfred Hospital. He holds a medical degree from Monash University (1993) and Fellowship from the Australasian College of Dermatologists (2005). His research focuses on dermoscopy, melanoma, early skin cancer detection, and dermatology education. He co-edited Diagnostic Dermoscopy: The Illustrated Guide (2nd Edition) (2022) and contributed to the Cancer Council Australia's clinical guidelines for melanoma management. Dr. Chamberlain has held editorial roles in Australasian Journal of Dermatology and Medicine Today between 2005–2015.
