Alexa Jarvis is a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting & Information Management at the Haslam College of Business, University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She holds a bachelor's and master's degree in accounting from the University of Florida, with a focus on taxation. A licensed CPA in Tennessee, she transitioned from public accounting—where she specialized in tax preparation, planning, and transfer pricing—to industry finance roles involving budgeting/forecasting and financial reporting. Since 2024, she has taught undergraduate courses in Intro to Financial Accounting.
