Alex Richardson is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on Computer Architecture, Security, and Programming Languages, with emphasis on memory safety, capability-based systems, and software verification.
Richardson's research spans critical areas in systems security, including pointer provenance, temporal and spatial safety for CHERI heaps, and capability enforcement for embedded devices.
