Professor Alex McBratney holds academic positions at the University of Sydney, including Professor of Soil Science and ARC Laureate Fellow. He is affiliated with the Sydney Environment Institute, Sydney Institute of Agriculture, and The Net Zero Institute. His research focuses on Pedometrics, Digital Soil Mapping, and Precision Agriculture, with contributions to global initiatives like GlobalSoilMap.
