Alex Barwick

Alex Barwick is a Lecturer in Podiatry at the Faculty of Health, Southern Cross University. With a PhD from the University of Newcastle (2016), she specializes in preventative foot care, diabetes-related foot complications, and peripheral arterial disease. Her research focuses on foot screening techniques, footwear design for ulcer prevention, and embedding research skills into health workforces through online and blended learning approaches.
