Alex 'Sandy' Pentland

Professor Alex 'Sandy' Pentland is a distinguished faculty member at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he directs the MIT Connection Science initiative—an institute-wide effort bridging multiple disciplines. He previously co-founded and directed the MIT Media Lab and Media Lab Asia in India, establishing himself as a pioneer in computational science.
