Alessio Lodola is a Full Professor at the Department of Food and Drug Sciences, University of Parma, with a career spanning over two decades in Medicinal Chemistry and Computational Drug Design. He has held academic positions since 2005, progressing from Researcher to Associate Professor (2014-2023) and Full Professor (since 2023).
His research focuses on targeted therapy for cancer, epigenetic modulators, and protein-protein interaction inhibitors with emphasis on the Eph/ephrin system. He has led projects on HDAC inhibitors, JAK3 inhibitors, and antiviral agents against SARS-CoV-2.
