Mohamed Abdelsalam

Mohamed Abdelsalam is a researcher in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at the Institute of Pharmacy, Faculty of Natural Sciences I - Biosciences, Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. He is actively involved in designing novel chemical probes and PROTACs targeting HDACs and FLT3-ITD in leukemia.

His research focuses on medicinal chemistry, epigenetic drug discovery, and targeted cancer therapy. He specializes in the design and synthesis of selective HDAC inhibitors, prodrugs, and protein degraders with applications in acute myeloid leukemia and pancreatic cancer.
