Alessandro Graciotti

Dr. Alessandro Graciotti is a Research Associate at the Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) Business School, Department of Marketing, International Business and Tourism. He holds a PhD 'cum laude' in Applied Research in Marketing and Consumer Behaviour from the University of Macerata. His research focuses on intersections between marketing, otherness, food localness, consumer ethics, and placemaking, with a theoretical emphasis on poststructuralist non-representational theory. He actively contributes to the Institute of Place Management (IPM) in the UK, leading the 2024 IPM Annual Research Study and supporting High Streets Task Force (HSTF) initiatives across 150 English locations.
