Alessandra Grotta is a Researcher at the Department of Public Health Sciences, Stockholm University, specializing in social epidemiology with a focus on disability-related health inequalities. Her research emphasizes informing policymakers and healthcare professionals to improve living conditions for people with disabilities. She collaborates on projects analyzing family members’ health in chronic illness contexts and long-term bereavement effects, leveraging Swedish national registers.
