Alessandra Clementi

Alessandra Clementi serves as Assistant Professor of Practice at Nazarbayev University's School of Medicine within the Department of Medicine. She joined the institution in 2015 during the School of Medicine's inception and holds leadership roles including Director of the Family Medicine Clerkship and Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program (established September 2019).

Her research spans critical healthcare domains with emphasis on:

• Telemedicine and Digital Medicine implementation
• Multilingual Medical Education frameworks
• Mental Health interventions for university populations
• LGBTQIA+ healthcare accessibility
• Patient satisfaction metrics in Central Asian contexts

Current projects include the Cough Analyzer symptom tracking system for COVID-19 (2020-2024) and mental health studies of Kazakhstani university students (2020-2023).
