Alessandra Bonazzi

Alessandra Bonazzi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering Management at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). She joined CSULB in 2025 after completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Davis, and earning her PhD from the University of Southern California. Her research focuses on groundwater hydrology, particularly examining how fluid properties and porous medium heterogeneity influence fluid mixing and transport.
