Aleksandrs Maļcevs is an Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). He is a transplant surgeon and researcher specializing in kidney and liver transplantation. His roles include serving as the Executive Secretary of the Laboratory of Transplantology and a Board Member of the 'Doctors Safe Train Fund'. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from RSU and has extensive clinical and research experience in organ transplantation.
