Her academic work focuses on Victorian and neo-Victorian literature, with specialized expertise in gender studies and the literary portrayal of women in 19th-century British fiction.
Her research explores intertextual connections between Victorian literature and contemporary adaptations, particularly examining authors like Anthony Trollope, Wilkie Collins, Oscar Wilde, and the Brontë sisters. Primary interests include feminist reinterpretations of classical texts, ethical dimensions of historical re-narration, and Bakhtinian narrative analysis.
Scholarly publications demonstrate consistent focus on Victorian literary studies with emerging interdisciplinary connections to ethics and psychology. Recent works examine neo-Victorian adaptations through ethical frameworks while earlier research included archaeological studies of Middle Eastern cultures.
