Aleksandar Brkić

Aleksandar Brkić is a Senior Lecturer and Director of the MA Arts Administration and Cultural Policy at the Institute for Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship (ICCE), Goldsmiths, University of London. He holds a PhD in Management in Arts and Media, an MFA in Scene Design, and an MSc in Management, among other academic qualifications.

• Affiliations: Goldsmiths (UK), LASALLE College of the Arts (Singapore), University of Arts (Belgrade), UNESCO Chair (Belgrade), Sibelius Academy (Helsinki), Ben M'Sik (Casablanca).

His research interests span cultural/arts management education, cultural policy in Eastern Europe and Asia, STEAM integration, art festivals, and creative collectives. He has contributed to projects like Beyond Quantum Music (Creative Europe, 2019–2022) and Women, Witches and Wonder (Arts Council England, 2021).

Prior to academia, Aleksandar worked over 20 years as a creative producer with organizations like LP Duo (Universal Music Group) and 8010 (Serbia), producing theatre, music, and site-specific projects across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He co-founded the Green Art Incubator and contributed to The Routledge Companion to Arts Management (2021).
