Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Atanasovski is a Full Professor at the Institute of History, Faculty of Philosophy, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. He specializes in Byzantine and Medieval Macedonian history. With a career spanning over three decades, he has held roles such as Head of Doctoral Studies (2009–2019) and has authored/co-authored multiple books including Византинци, начин на живот (2017) and Македонија во XIV век (2009). His research focuses on Byzantine socio-legal structures, Macedonian medieval institutions, and inter-Balkan relations.
