Alein Y. Haro-Ramos, PhD, MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health, Society, and Behavior at UC Irvine's Joe C. Wen School of Population & Public Health. Her research examines structural determinants of health inequities among racialized and low-income communities in the U.S., focusing on intersections of race, ethnicity, citizenship, and labor conditions.

Her work explores immigrant health across the life course, occupational psychosocial risk factors, precarious employment, and racialized disparities, particularly affecting Latino/x populations. Recent studies analyze:

- Immigration fears affecting vaccine uptake
- CBT-based digital mental health interventions
