Alberto Montanari

Professor Alberto Montanari is a leading academic at the University of Bologna, serving as Full Professor of Hydrology and Water Resources Management and Head of the Department of Civil, Environmental, Chemical and Material Engineering (DICAM) since 2015. His research spans hydrology, climate change impacts, and water resources systems with a focus on flood forecasting, sustainable water management, and uncertainty quantification through methodologies like BLUECAT.
