Alberta Aversa

Alberta Aversa is an Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Science and Technology (DISAT), Polytechnic University of Turin. She is a member of the Interdepartmental Center IAM@PoliTo - Integrated Additive Manufacturing. Her research focuses on Additive Manufacturing of Metallic Materials, with emphasis on microstructure characterization, heat treatments, and mechanical properties of materials processed via AM technologies.

She supervises PhD student Vincent Wong and participates in commercial research projects like the Design and construction of Heat Pipes with Additive Manufacturing technology as Scientific Manager.
