Albert Prestianta is a researcher at the Digital Media Research Centre, Queensland University of Technology, with a focus on Media Literacy and Social Media in digital contexts. His PhD thesis investigates the influence of digital platforms on media and news consumption habits among young Indonesians.
He is supervised by Principal Supervisor Dr. T.J. Thomson and Associate Supervisors Associate Professor Jenny Hou and Professor Michael Dezuanni. His research aligns with the Centre’s programs on
