Albert Poater Teixidor

Albert Poater Teixidor is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Girona, where he is also affiliated with the Institute of Computational Chemistry and Catalysis (IQCC) and leads research within the DiMoCat group. His work bridges computational modeling and sustainable chemistry, focusing on mechanistic and predictive approaches to catalysis.

Research interests include computational studies of organometallic reaction mechanisms using Density Functional Theory (DFT), with applications in olefin metathesis (Ru-based catalysts), gold-mediated transformations, and green chemistry.
