Alba Saura Clares

Alba Saura Clares is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Spanish Philology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Her research focuses on Argentine theater during the military dictatorship (1976-1983), the Open Theatre Movement, and exile dynamics between Argentina and Spain. She holds a PhD in Arts and Humanities from the University of Murcia and has conducted research stays in Germany, the United States, and Argentina.

Current Project: The Open Scene Archive (AEA) reconstructs the Argentine Open Theatre Movement (1981-1985) through archival research, focusing on key figures like Osvaldo Dragún. This project bridges theater history with political and poetic analysis.
