Alana LeBrón is an Associate Professor at the University of California, Irvine, with dual appointments in the School of Public Health's Health, Society, & Behavior department and the Chicano/Latino Studies program. As an Equity Advisor, she bridges academic research with community action to address systemic inequities.

Her research focuses on structural racism and health, the health of Latino/a communities, and community-based participatory research (CBPR). She examines how racialized systems perpetuate health disparities and collaborates with marginalized groups to co-create solutions.

LeBrón's recent work explores community health worker (CHW) models during the COVID-19 pandemic, environmental justice in Boyle Heights, and language justice in health promotion.
