Prof. Dr. Dr. hc mult. Alan T. Huckleberry is a renowned mathematician and full-time Professor at the Faculty of Mathematics, Ruhr University Bochum, Germany. He holds honorary doctorates (Dr. hc mult.) and has made significant contributions to Lie groups, representation theory, and complex geometry.
His research interests focus on algebraic and complex geometry, transformation groups, and their applications in mathematical analysis. He has organized major conferences, such as the 2012 Lie Groups conference dedicated to Joseph A. Wolf. Huckleberry serves as an editor for journals including Transformation Groups, European Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics, and Complex Analysis and its Synergies.
