Alan Kopischke is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. He holds an MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater and a BS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Miami, complemented by executive certificates from Harvard University and the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee.
His professional expertise spans theatre performance, Shakespearean acting, and arts management, with extensive experience at renowned institutions like Steppenwolf Theatre and Milwaukee Repertory Theater. His teaching focuses on acting techniques, arts entrepreneurship, and community engagement through theater.
Professor Kopischke maintains active leadership roles as Board President of Third Avenue Playhouse and Knock Publishing, and serves on Wisconsin's JEM Grant Review Committee. He is a member of Actors Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA.
