Alan Dubin serves as an Adjunct Professor at the George Washington University School of Law, teaching secured transactions, while maintaining an active partnership at Arent Fox LLP in Washington, DC since 1985. His dual career spans banking, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate law, and business organization law, with specialized expertise in Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code. He chairs the firm's Committee on Opinion Letters Rendered in Commercial Transactions and serves on the Professional Conduct Committee.
His research focuses on the practical application of commercial law in complex financial transactions, particularly secured lending, bankruptcy proceedings, and structured finance.
