Akhlaque Haque

Dr. Akhlaque Haque is a Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in the Department of Urban and Public Affairs. He has served as Director of the MPA Program for over 18 years and holds leadership roles in NASPAA and ASPA. His research focuses on GIS applications in public policy, surveillance and democracy, urban development, and E-Government. Dr. Haque earned his BS in Economics from the University of Dhaka, and his MA/PhD in Urban and Public Affairs from Cleveland State University.
