Akhil Amar is the Sterling Professor of Law and Political Science at Yale University, teaching constitutional law at both Yale College and Yale Law School. He joined the Yale faculty in 1985 after clerking for Judge Stephen Breyer on the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
