Aiva Plotniece is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, specializing in pharmaceutical chemistry and medicinal chemistry. Her research focuses on drug delivery systems, nanomedicine, and antimicrobial agents. She has contributed to advancements in self-assembling dihydropyridines, fluorescent cell imaging dyes, and polymeric nanoformulations for antibiotics. Her work aligns with sustainable development goals related to health and innovation.
