Aisling O'Carroll is a Lecturer in Landscape Architecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. Her research focuses on reconstructing historical landscapes, architectural history, and the intersection of geology with cultural heritage. She holds a PhD candidacy at the Bartlett, exploring the methodologies behind historical reconstructions.
Her work investigates the relationship between landscape and memory, particularly through projects like Reconstructing the Dent du Requin (LA+ Journal, 2020) and studies of Eugène-Emmanuel Viollet-le-Duc’s Alpine architecture.
