Aimée deChambeau, PhD, is a Professor of Bibliography and Dean of University Libraries at The University of Akron, Ohio. An expert in library science and sustainability education, she focuses on lifelong learning, communities of practice, and feminist pedagogy.
- PhD in Sustainability Education from Prescott College
- MLS from the University of Pittsburgh
Her career includes prior roles as Associate Librarian at Stony Brook University, Director of the Schmidt Family Information & Technology Center at The Knox School, and Science Librarian at Carnegie Public Library. She also served as managing editor of the Journal of Sustainability Education.
