Dr. Aimee Mollaghan is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Arts, English and Languages at Queen's University Belfast, joining in 2019. She holds a PhD in Film Studies from the University of Glasgow and an MPhil in Motion Graphics from Glasgow School of Art. Her research explores the intersection of sound, music, and the moving image, with a focus on visual music, hauntology, and landscape in cinema. She has authored The Visual Music Film (2015) and co-edited Haunted Soundtracks: Audiovisual Cultures of Memory, Landscape and Sound (2023). Her work analyzes audiovisual relationships, soundscapes, and contemporary film trends.
