Dr. Aiedah Khalek is a Senior Lecturer (Education Focused) at the Malaysia School of Pathways & Immersion, Monash University Malaysia. She serves as the Academic Lead for General Studies, overseeing key units such as Appreciation of Ethics and Civilizations, Ethnic Relations, and Islamic and Asian Civilizations. She is actively involved in curriculum development, interdisciplinary research, and national educational initiatives.

Her research interests span religion and society, with emphasis on Muslim societies, social cohesion, religious tolerance, halal consumption, and the intersection of medicine and religion. She employs multidisciplinary approaches to examine cultural and sociocultural factors influencing public health and education. Her recent work explores disease-related stigma, genomic medicine adoption, and philosophical analyses of social issues through food and film.
The 15 most recent publications reflect a strong trend in interdisciplinary scholarship, blending philosophy, religion, public health, and social sciences. These works appear in edited volumes, journals, and academic conferences, showcasing her contributions to higher education pedagogy, halal industry innovation, and stigma reduction in healthcare.
