Aida N. Lteif

Dr. Aida N. Lteif is a distinguished Professor of Pediatric Endocrinology at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, practicing within the Department of Endocrinology at Mayo Clinic Children's in Rochester, Minnesota. With over two decades of clinical and research experience, she specializes in complex pediatric endocrine disorders with particular expertise in pituitary conditions, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, paraganglioma syndromes, and transgender healthcare.

Her educational journey includes an MD from Saint Joseph University (1992), Pediatrics residency at State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse (1995), and Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine (1998). Board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology, she maintains active leadership roles including Chair of the Clinical Division Department of Pediatrics Subspecialty Committee.

Dr. Lteif's research focuses on advancing newborn screening protocols for endocrine disorders, particularly congenital adrenal hyperplasia and adrenoleukodystrophy, often incorporating molecular diagnostics.
