Aida Kršo, M.Sc., is a linguist affiliated with the University of Sarajevo's Language Institute and Faculty of Philosophy (University of East Sarajevo). Her academic work focuses on Linguistics, Stylistics, Phonetics, and Morphology, particularly in Bosnian language contexts. She holds a Master's degree in Linguistics (2007) and is enrolled in doctoral studies (2021). Her roles include Head of Publishing, Library and Information Service and Senior Associate at the Language Institute.
Her research spans standard language variation, historical grammar, sociolinguistic challenges, and educational applications. She has contributed to dictionaries like Pravopisni priručnik (2013) and Rječnik bosanskog jezika (2007). Notable projects include the Bosnian Dictionary of Accent Variations (2023–2024) and international collaborations on Balkan language politics.
Her publications analyze language in media, case systems, rhetorical devices, and anglicisms in fashion journalism. She actively participates in international conferences such as the VIII International Linguistic Conference on Krste Misirkov (2024) and Symposium on Bosnian Language (2016). Her work emphasizes functional literacy, speech culture, and orthoepic norms, delivered through seminars, educational broadcasts, and teacher training programs.
