Prof. Ahmet Emre DAĞTAŞOĞLU is a Professor at Trakya University's Faculty of Divinity, specializing in aesthetics, Kantian philosophy, and cultural studies. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from Trakya University (2013) with a thesis on Kant's aesthetic epistemology. His academic career includes roles as lecturer and radio programmer, alongside extensive research on Hume's influence on Kant, folk music aesthetics, and Plato's epistemology. He has advised four master's theses and published over 20 peer-reviewed articles across journals like Kutadgubilig and FLSF. His awards include an honorable mention for his work on ancient Greek 'fantasia' (2019). Prof. DAĞTAŞOĞLU's research bridges philosophy, musicology, and cultural studies, with key focuses on Kantian mathematical sublime, Sufi symbolism in music, and postmodern subjectivity critiques.
