Ahmed Rahmani serves as an Associate Professor at Centrale Lille, where he is affiliated with the CRIStAL research laboratory and the SoftE research team. His office is located in room C321 at the Scientific City campus, reflecting his deep integration within the institution's research infrastructure.
His research focuses on advanced control systems, specializing in Multi-Agent Systems, Robotics, Distributed Control, Fractional-Order Systems, and Event-Triggered Control. His work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical applications in cooperative navigation, cyber-physical security, and multi-robot coordination, addressing critical challenges in system resilience and optimization.
Professor Rahmani has supervised 14 doctoral students to completion, guiding research on topics including discontinuous cooperative control, Lie group approaches for multi-robot systems, fractional-order multi-agent control, and resilient cyber-physical systems.
