Dr. Ahmed Allam is an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department at the University of Cincinnati. He leads the UC Metasonics Lab, focusing on acoustics, ultrasonics, metamaterials, and IoT applications. His research includes developing acoustic materials for challenging environments like oceans, the human body, and nuclear waste containers, using 3D printing and metamaterials to design transducers and systems.
