Roles & Affiliations: Ahmad Bhatti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at the University of Birmingham's Birmingham Business School. He has held roles across UK, Dubai, and Singapore campuses since joining in 2018. He is currently Programme Director for MSc Management (SIM) and Academic Integrity Officer (2019–2022). He also holds visiting/associate roles at Malta Further & Higher Education Authority, University Centre Newbury, University of Winchester, and University of Warwick's Warwick Manufacturing Group.
Education: MBA (Warwick Business School, 2012), MSc in Computer Integrated Manufacture (Loughborough University, 1997), BSc in Mechanical Engineering (University of Engineering & Technology Lahore, 1995).
Research & Teaching: Specializes in procurement, operations management, and supply chain logistics. Teaches modules such as International Operations and Procurement, Managing Global Services, and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Previously supervised post-graduate students in areas like International Trade and Strategy.
Awards: Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Consultancy & Service: Over 18 years in IT solutions for manufacturing before academia. Consulted on joint ventures, led projects for firms like Colgate-Palmolive and Philips Lighting. Volunteers with Grow Movement and education initiatives like Warwick Business School Mentoring Programme.
