Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim is an Associate Professor in Computer Science at the University of Birmingham Dubai, where he serves as the Undergraduate Programme Director and Year 2 Coordinator for BSc students. He is also the School Outreach Coordinator for the Computer Science program at the Dubai campus.

His recent publications demonstrate a strong trend in fog and edge computing, with particular emphasis on QoS optimization, cost-effective deployment, and resource management in distributed environments. His work bridges theoretical modeling with practical application deployment strategies across cloud-edge continua.
