Ahmad Alkhatib is a Researcher at Imperial College London’s Faculty of Medicine, within the School of Public Health and Department of Primary Care and Public Health. He leads projects focusing on unscheduled care patterns, NHS service pressures, adverse drug reactions, and health inequalities in the Northwest London population. His work integrates Electronic Health Records and data science methodologies for public health improvement.
Alkhatib holds a PhD from the University of Glasgow (2019-2022), where he investigated urban environmental determinants of chronic illness in Palestine using GIS and multi-level analysis. His master’s in Public Health from Birzeit University (Palestine) focused on youth wellbeing via mixed-methods research. Prior to academia, he practiced physiotherapy after graduating from the University of Tunis Almanar.
He collaborates with the Applied Research Collaboration - Northwest London (ARC-NWL), supporting teaching and cross-project research initiatives. His expertise spans health informatics, applied statistics, and interdisciplinary public health interventions.
