Dr. Ahmad AL Ajlan is a Research Associate at the Faculty of Sociology, Department 6 - Sociology of Transnationalization and Social Anthropology, University of Bielefeld. He specializes in refugee acculturation, conflict analysis, and social theory, with a focus on Syrian refugees in Germany and Italy. His work has been funded by VolkswagenStiftung and the German Research Foundation (DFG).

- Conflict Dynamics among unaccompanied refugee minors
- Integration Barriers for older refugees
