معرفی
Agustin Schiffrin is an Associate Professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Monash University. He specializes in functional supramolecular nanostructures, bottom-up design of solid interfaces, ultrafast charge dynamics, and light-matter interactions. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals focused on affordable and clean energy and industry innovation.
Research Interests:
- Functional interfaces and low-dimensional nanostructures
- Scanning probe microscopy and optics
- Quantum materials and electronic properties at solid interfaces
Recent Article Trends: Recent work emphasizes 2D molecular self-assembly, electronic energy band formation, and catalytic C-H bond activation at room temperature. Research spans nanostructure engineering, surface chemistry, and quantum phenomena in engineered materials.
Awards: Recipient of the ARC Future Fellowship (2016).
Grants & Projects: Lead investigator in projects like 'Controllable quantum phases in 2D metal-organic nanomaterials' (2024–2027) and collaborator in the ARC Centre of Excellence for Future Low-Energy Electronics Technologies (2017–2024).
