Agnieszka Paczynska is a Professor at George Mason University specializing in conflict analysis and peacebuilding. Her research examines relationships between economic/political change, security-development nexus, and post-conflict reconstruction. She holds a PhD in Political Science from University of Virginia and MA/BA from New York University.
Research interests center on globalization effects on local conflicts, peace pedagogy, and emerging donors' roles in fragile states. Her work integrates policy engagement with organizations including UN, USAID, and State Department.
