Agnieszka Czerw

Dr. Agnieszka Czerw is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Occupational and Organizational Psychology at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Poznań. She serves as Vice-Dean for Teaching at the Faculty of Psychology and Law and is affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Social Activity and Well-Being "FEEL & ACT WELL". Her academic career combines teaching, research, and administrative responsibilities at one of Poland's leading social sciences institutions.

Dr. Czerw holds a PhD in psychology and has established herself as a prominent researcher in work and organizational psychology. Her research program focuses on the intersection of occupational psychology with positive psychology, particularly examining how work contributes to overall well-being and life satisfaction. She has developed several diagnostic tools used in organizational settings, including contributions to the Vocational Interest Questionnaire commissioned by the Polish Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.

Her research interests span multiple dimensions of workplace psychology, with particular emphasis on employee well-being, the meaning and value of work, organizational assessments, and positive psychological approaches to human resources management. Dr. Czerw's work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical applications for improving organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.

Dr. Czerw is the founder and long-standing Chair of the Polish Positive Psychology Association and a member of the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology. Her leadership extends to academic administration as Vice-Dean for Teaching and Department Head, where she shapes psychology education at SWPS University.

As an educator, she teaches specialized courses including leadership and organizational research, as well as foundational psychology courses covering psychological skills, personal development, and advanced psychometrics. She also serves as the university's coordinator for the psychology program, overseeing curriculum development and implementation.
