Agnes Boll is a Lecturer at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK), affiliated with the Faculty of Music's Department of Singing (Early Music) since 2005. She specializes in historical vocal performance, early music, and pedagogy.
Education includes studies in flute and voice at MUK, voice training at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna under Wolfgang Bruneder, and a diploma in singing from the Academy for Early Music and Performance Practice. She also holds a degree in Prehistoric and Protohistoric Archaeology from the University of Vienna, alongside certifications in phytotherapy and cultural mediation.
Her research focuses on German Minnelieder, Italian Trecento, and early Renaissance music. She has contributed to publications like 'Einführung in die mittelalterliche Musik' and actively engages in vocal/breath-oriented bodywork methodologies. As a performer, she has collaborated with ensembles like the Arnold-Schönberg-Chor and Opera da camera Linz, releasing CDs and performing internationally.
She leads the choir at VHS Hietzing and has extensive teaching experience in voice and recorder instruction.
