Andrea Wild is a Universitätsprofessor (Professor) at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK), where she has held a teaching position since 1995. She specializes in flute performance, pedagogy, bodywork, and mental coaching. Additionally, she has been part of the Bühnenorchester der Wiener Staatsoper since 1998. Her current focus centers on musician health, including posture training, prevention of performance-related strain, and mental training. She actively conducts workshops on topics like Mindbody Balance Tools for musicians and has certifications in music physiology and Franklin Method techniques.
- Education: Studied under Prof. Gottfried Hechtl at Wien Konservatorium (now MUK) and Prof. Wolfgang Schulz at Hochschule für Musik Wien.
- Key Achievements: 1985 Interlochen Arts Academy Scholarship, 1991 Konzertfachdiplom with distinction.
